“The art of marketing is the art of brand building. If you are not a brand you are a commodity. Then price is everything and the low cost producer is the only winner.”
– PHILIP KOTLER, PROFESSOR AT THE KELLOGG SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT
Our Secret Recipe
We’re about to do something that we’ve never done before: release to the blogosphere the recipe for our secret sauce. Branding. We’re going to spill the beans on what makes us the best of the best and how we achieve high quality results across every client we establish. Are you ready?
As we gained momentum in the treatment industry, we found ourselves spending countless hours “reinventing the wheel” over and over, so we created an eleven-step formulaic approach in order to deliver successful, lead-generating brands time and time again.
Getting Started
Let’s start with number one: learn about your history.
The more we know about who you are and what you stand for, the better we will be able to represent and encapsulate you in one beautifully branded package. In order to learn about you, we will sit down with you and your team to discuss different aspects of your company, such as:
- How and why the company was started
- Brief profiles on the founders
- Major turning points in its development
- Where the company is today
Through answering these questions, we will be able to start laying the foundation of your brand. As with anything, if the foundation isn’t sturdy, the marketing campaign will flop, so it is vital that we capture a realistic snapshot of who you are and what you do in order to draw the brand to match it.
The Format
We conduct in-depth research and learn all we can from you, but we don’t get bogged down in detail while creating the brief. We keep it light and readable. Though it isn’t used as one, we think of this history as a marketing piece and ensure there aren’t any mistakes, failures, or other non-flattering details present in the final piece. Nothing is included that won’t be used later on.
It is written as a brief, simple document that we will refer to on a regular basis to confirm that we are staying true to your identity.
A Note to Startups
We understand that a lot of these questions don’t pertain to you, so don’t fret. We will simply zoom in on the story of your founders and why they decided to start the business and paint the picture around that. We will be able to help you fill in those blanks and turn your startup into a thriving business. Just you wait and see.
Coming Up…
Next we will talk step number two: writing a vision statement. Keep an eye out!
